  11.      Out client is a privately held company founded in 1991.  The company 
  12.      has been profitable since its inception with sales nearly tripling in 
  13.      each of the past three years.  At the end of 1995, the company 
  14.      employed more than 200 people.  Their services are available worldwide 
  15.      with offices in Billerica and Westborough, MA, Trumbull, CT, Boulder, 
  16.      CO, Schaumburg, IL, and Phoenix, AZ.  They offer a family of services: 
  17.      Application Maintenance Outsourcing, Insourcing and Custom Maintenance 
  18.      Services that includes the year 2000 enhancements.  They target 
  19.      industries in which companies are managing large inventories of 
  20.      software, either for sale or for business support.  This can be system 
  21.      software products or MIS applications and covers a wide spectrum of 
  22.      industries.

  30.      REPORTING RELATIONSHIP     
  31.      This position reports to the Vice President, Research and Development.

  33.      EDUCATION          
  34.      Bachelor's of Computer Science required.  Masters in Computer Science 
  35.      preferred. 
  36.      
  37.      REQUIREMENTS
  38.      The qualified candidate will have eight (8) plus years of increasing 
  39.      responsibility with 3 years in a supervisory or first level management 
  40.      position prefered.  The majority of the candidate's experience must be 
  41.      from a company developing or bringing an application or services to a 
  42.      user community.  The candidate must have in-depth experience in UNIX 
  43.      development and C language, as well as, familiarity with a mainframe 
  44.      MIS environment.  Excellent communication skills and an interest in 
  45.      leading and motivating teams are required.
  46.      
  47.      RESPONSIBILITIES
  48.      The Project Leader will be the technical leader of a team of engineers 
  49.      developing proprietary tools and techniques for automating software 
  50.      code analysis.  This person will be responsible for delivering tools 
  51.      that are designed to automate the process of detecting date fields 
  52.      that will be affected by the year 2000.  The candidate must be able to 
  53.      provide leadership for self-directed teams with emphasis on meeting 
  54.      customer requirements with the quality delivery of software services.  
  55.      Occasional travel may be required to meet with clients.

  57.      COMPENSATION
  58.      Base salary of $50,000 to $80,000 depending on experience with an 
  59.      attractive bonus package based on team performance.
